Jess on her denim bean bag. As long as they have a separate inner to enable easy, frequent laundering a denim bean bag makes a great dog bed. Denim is not simply suitable as the base material for the manufacture of fashion clothing ...... It started life about 1870 as a tough material for the manufacture of work apparel but only became a fashion statement in the 1960's. So what a great starting point for those heavy duty areas of the home where fashion may still be a consideration but where the price ticket associated with fashion is to be avoided. ie Teenagers' bedrooms, family rooms, rumpus rooms, guest areas, holiday homes, bunk rooms. You can have covers for those tired looking kitchen dining chairs, duvet covers for the bunks, roman blinds to match and any other form of window treatment for that matter. You can have covers for sofa beds, covers for sofas and chairs (with or without magazine pockets) and you can co-ordinate with denim lamp shades or downlight shades. Any type of cushioning looks great in denim but, as the picture below also shows, striped co-ordinates also look great on denim. And for the kitchenhand who has everything, a denim apron looks pretty darn good!

NOTE: Unless you specify otherwise, we can either pre-wash the denim before manufacture or pre-shrink and then enzyme wash to give that faded stone-washed look. Whichever method we use the end result is a colour fast product which, whilst requiring separate wash, can be safely laundered with only minimal colour loss, no shrinkage and no damage to seams. Incidentally, the effect of emzyme washing the product after manufacture is to give that authentic Levis look of bruising along the seams.
